Welcome to New Orleans
Welcome to the 2024 Broussard Family Reunion. This website is designed to ensure everyone stays updated with the latest information about our reunion activities. We have extended invitations to as many descendants of Angeline Mouton and Ursin Broussard as we could find. The response to the reunion has been overwhelmingly positive. We anticipate that approximately 145 family members and extended family members will join us in New Orleans June 27-30.
Regrettably, we may not be able to accommodate late registrations at all reunion events. We set a deadline of May 1, 2024, for registration and payment to ensure adequate space and food for attendees which we communicated on the reunion Facebook page. Contractual obligations required us to provide final counts and payments to food and transportation vendors by June 4, 2024. The Friday daytime and Saturday evening events have limited seating. Thursday Meet and Greet
Meet up in our hospitality lounge with family and get reacquainted with everyone from near and far.
Full-Day Friday
We’ve planned overlapping get together options on Friday during the day. Friday evening we’ve planned a dinner at the hotel.
Saturday Brunch
Meet us for brunch in the hotel. It’s a chicken and waffles type of vibe. Not too early, not too late.
Prayers, Program, and Party Time
Join us Saturday afternoon for a vigil mass, followed by a family program, and dinner party. All events are in the same place–a venue that was a former church.
