Broussard Blessings and Banquet Blowout Event

June 29 @ 4:30 pm – 9:00 pm

Join us for our final and most special reunion event. We will commence with a vigil Mass at 4:30 pm, followed by our family programming and a dinner party. It’s an opportunity to learn more about and celebrate our family heritage—both then and now.

Starting at 4:30 pm, Reverend Charles Andrus, S.S.J., from Blessed Sacrament St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in New Orleans, will lead our mass. Ms. Nina Gray, a musician and vocalist from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, will enchant us with her soulful sounds in the Black Catholic tradition of our beloved ancestors. Our venue, Livaudais Hall is a restored church. Established in 1875, the property was originally constructed to house the St Francis De Sales Catholic Church.

Following Mass, we’ll transition into our family programming, accompanied by passed hors d’oeuvres for 30-45 minutes, leading us into a dinner buffet. The evening will conclude at 9:00 pm, with transportation boarding starting around 9:15 pm for those needing a ride back to the hotel.

Elysian Catering will be providing our carefully selected menu, detailed below.
